The irony is that it's called Banana Boat LOL. I definitely understand the scared tactic that you're talking about, like I didn't really want to, but I did anyway...because "just to be sure...right?" , wonderful read. I struggled with acne a wholeee lot...and I relate. If you need any help with that Panoxyl is the way to go. It's a cleanser, and the only thing i use. and it's not like cast-y or will leave you ghost white.
Corey… Well done for speaking up about this as I’ve heard of many sunscreens doing the exact opposite of what they’re meant to do & it often wrecks the wearer’s skin. You definitely should try Kiehl’s sunscreen ! It’s a L’Oréal brand and I’ve never had ANYONE have a bad reaction. That and super goop are my favorite ones, but any of the Kiehl’s one are PHENOMENAL!
I am an avid skincare user, and I am actually not a fan of Rihanna’s skincare because of the same reasons as you (Barbados cherry) BUT her sunscreen is probably my ultimate favorite BUT it has niacinamide in it which you stated does not work for you.
Skincare without sunscreen is definitely not great for the body :/ I definitely believe you can find one that works for you, I never go a day without it and people tell me I look 22 when I’m 27 - Sunscreen is the VIP of my skincare routine!!!!
Yeah I heard good things about Rihanna sunscreen never heard any bad reviews about it which is so interesting cause like us, everyone isn’t a fan of her skincare products. With the resources she has she could’ve definitely dug deeper for inspiration and culture.
my skincare routine is basic due to me having eczema. So it’s CeraVe salicylic acid face wash, vichy hyaluronic acid serum and vanicream hyaluronic acid and ceramides moisturiser. if I feel a breakout coming I use antioxidants (serum) I use to think I needed a 10 step routine but my skin doesn’t like most ingredients lol. I’m done wasting money lol I gotta stick to the tried and true
